From the Classroom to Real-Life Success
When Dilara joined the 1Ci ERP Training Program, she was finishing her second year at university and had no prior knowledge of ERP systems. However, thanks to the valuable guidance of her instructors and her consistent efforts, she was able to start from scratch and successfully learn both the fundamental and advanced concepts of this field.
ℹ️ 1Сi ERP Training Program is a free training provided by 1Ci to the students of Industrial, Mechanical, Business or Software Engineering faculties. Its aim is to support young specialists in kickstarting their careers and securing employment in the field of business automation. During this training the students acquire comprehensive knowledge of ERP and gain hands-on experience in using and configuring 1Ci flagship product, 1C:Drive, designed for automating growing businesses. Within a month, during in-person and online events,young specialists are provided with a series of educational sessions, practical tasks, self-learning and creative workshops led by 1Ci experts. The students who successfully complete the program and certification tasks are awarded with a certificate and have the opportunity to get an internship at 1Ci partners in the region.
Over the course of a month, she learned about various emerging concepts and structures such as ERP and Low Code. Additionally, she gained knowledge of critical business processes such as Finance and Accounting Management, Material and Inventory Management, Production and Planning, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, and Sales. These insights provided Dilara with not only theoretical but also practical insights into the business world.
“This program not only enhanced my technical knowledge but also improved my problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills. Additionally, I met many valuable people during the training and learned a lot from them.” - says Dilara Abay.
The program culminated in a 1C:Drive Case Challenge. The jury, which consisted of 1Ci partners in Türkiye, highly appreciated Dilara`s skills as a team captain. Her team successfully solved complex business challenges using the capabilities of 1C:Drive ERP and won first place.
A Door Opens with iQM
At the final competition, Dilara’s performance caught an eye of iQM, 1Ci partner in Turkiye and a jury member at the event. Impressed by her presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and her answers to their questions, iQM decided to add her to their prospect list. Later, after several online conversations with Dilara, iQM confirmed how suitable she was for the company and offered her an internship.

Dilara’s Role at iQM
Since starting her internship in September 2024, Dilara has been actively learning and contributing to iQM. While still in training, she participates in pre-sales meetings, observes how ERP systems are tailored to client needs. Moreover, Dilara has successfully completed the 1C Junior Developer сertification within the 1Ci Onboarding program..
“I have been observing the impact of the theoretical knowledge we learned in 1Ci training on real customers during the pre-sales phase. Having this experience, I will have the opportunity to work on real projects as a junior analyst,” says Dilara. “The team at iQM has been incredibly supportive, giving me the chance to learn and grow every day.”
Her next steps at iQM will include deeper involvement in the Birmak project. Birmak is a big company that manufactures machinery in Izmit, where iQM will have the first experience of 1C:ERP implementation. In this project Dilara Abay will be supporting Aytaç Aydın (Co-founder of iQM) as a business analyst.
